Student Instructions for Exchange Blog
The Exchange Blog is an additional site to exchange your work with other students. Please use this as a way to receive feedback on your images/ projects from more than your classmates.
Send an email to adriane.little@wmich.edu with the EXACT information requested.
• The email subject field should have your school’s name and photo exchange so that I know it is not junk mail – example: WMU Photo Exchange
Inside the email:
• Your First and Last Name
• The class you are taking – example Art 210 Digital Photo
• Medium – examples: silver print, digital print, video still, installation still
• Original Size of the actual/physical image
• If image is in a series – how many images are there in total
• Optional – 100 word max statement about the work which will help to start a discussion about your image, but this is optional
• Attach 1 image:
o Adjust image size to 3x5 at 72 dpi
o Then use the save for the web function to prepare the image for the web
o Make sure that the image is under 100k – the smaller the file size the better. Use the 4 up option to select the smaller file size without distorting the image
